Mission
Our mission is simply the mission of every Jesus follower: To make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded.
“GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND SURELY I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE VERY END OF THE AGE.” MATTHEW 28:19–20
We carry out this mission by committing to Jesus and one another in large and small gatherings
Discipleship Values
As disciples of Jesus, we seek to:
[GOSPEL] Understand the good news of what God has done in Jesus
[IDENTITY] Become whole, healed, flourishing individuals
[COMMUNITY] Belong to and participate in deeply caring and loving family
[MISSION] Join in God’s restorative work in the world around us
[POWER] Totally recognize and rely upon the power of God's Spirit
“For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” I Cor. 5:19-20
Vision
As we carry out our mission, we will be transformed into emotionally mature, spiritually strong, and relationally loving people. As we spend time with Jesus, through the study of His Word (as a community and in our own personal pursuit of Him), He causes transformation in us and in the world around us so that we can begin to see God’s kingdom advancing on earth.
